About

Radioactive started out as a university reading group, which was conceived of and facilitated by us: Sarah Evans-Alwin and Tim Moffatt. We both have an interest in popular (and unpopular) culture and have since branched out into making our own podcast which has developed into a concept that we’ve turned into a weekly programme on our local community radio station, Sheffield Live, on 93.2FM.

We’re often joined by the resident Radioactive cat, Grace, who has many opinions about films, books, radio, and television, and loves to contribute to our programme. She’s the inspiration behind many of our better shows, such as the unforgettable ‘Beast’ themed programme of 2019.
