In this special episode we get to chat to legendary Boston based artist and cartoonist Karl Stevens about his work and cats Penny and Pepper. We talk to him about The Winner (2018) and Penny (2021), his associations with Village Voice, The Boston Phoenix, The New Yorker, as well as about his wife and muse, Alex, and his latest project adapting a film script by Jamie Lee Curtis: Mother Nature. He also tells us about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. You can see his work in collaboration with their exhibition Boticelli: Heroines and Heroes here. It’s clever and funny and we love it.

Make sure you follow Karl on twitter: @KarlStevensArt and instagram: @karlstevensart and you can get his books at any good bookshop or indeed from the lovely people at Avery Hill.
